EXIF / Metadata Stripper
Drop a photo and get it back with all metadata stripped — EXIF, GPS coordinates, XMP, IPTC, and comments. The image pixels are completely untouched; only the metadata segments are removed. This is important when sharing photos publicly: EXIF data can contain your location, camera serial number, software versions, and even the photographer's name.
What it does

Frequently asked questions
1Is the image quality affected?
No. The tool operates at the binary level, removing only metadata segments. The actual image data (the JPEG scan data or PNG IDAT chunks) is copied byte-for-byte. There's no recompression, so quality is identical to the original.
2What's the ICC profile option?
ICC profiles tell color-managed applications how to render the image's colors accurately. By default the tool preserves ICC profiles. Toggle the option to strip them too if you want the smallest possible file and don't need color accuracy across devices.
3Does it support PNG and WebP?
Yes. For JPEG, it removes APP1 (EXIF/XMP), APP13 (IPTC), and comment segments. For PNG, it removes tEXt, iTXt, and zTXt chunks that contain metadata. The pixel data in both formats is preserved exactly.
