Frequently asked questions
1Does it work with photos taken at an angle?
The QR decoder handles some perspective distortion, but for best results use a straight-on photo with good lighting. Screenshots work best because they're pixel-perfect with no distortion.
2Can it read multiple QR codes from one image?
The tool reads the first QR code it detects. If there are multiple QR codes in the image, crop the image to isolate the one you want to decode.
3What image formats does it support?
PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, and BMP. You can drop a file or paste an image directly from the clipboard (Cmd+V / Ctrl+V).
