Frequently asked questions
1How are business days calculated?
Business days exclude Saturdays and Sundays. The tool counts the number of weekdays between the two dates. Holidays are not accounted for since they vary by country and organization.
2What date formats does it accept?
ISO 8601 format (2024-01-15 or 2024-01-15T10:30:00Z) is recommended. The tool also accepts common date formats like 01/15/2024 or Jan 15, 2024, but ISO format is the most reliable.
3Does it handle timezone differences?
If your dates include timezone information (like Z or +05:30), the calculation accounts for the timezone offset. If no timezone is specified, dates are treated as being in the same timezone.
