Frequently asked questions

1What's the difference between triadic and tetradic?

Triadic uses three colors evenly spaced around the color wheel (120° apart). Tetradic (also called rectangle) uses four colors arranged as two complementary pairs, creating a richer but more complex palette.

2How does the monochromatic palette work?

Monochromatic palettes use a single hue with varying lightness and saturation. The tool generates several shades from dark to light, all based on your chosen color's hue. This creates a clean, cohesive look.

3Can I export the palette?

You can copy individual hex values or all colors at once. For CSS custom properties, copy each color and paste it into your :root variables block.
